End of Year Science Research
All SLCSE high school students participate in an end of year science symposium. Throughout May and June, students of all grade levels conduct experiments, produce scientific documentaries, or design Rube Goldberg machines, that they then share with the SLCSE community at our end of year science symposium.
High School Science Research
High school students have the option to design and carry out scientific research that they can share at the school, district, and regional science fairs. Students may elect to participate in a year-long advanced science research course to facilitate their studies, or they may work independently with a mentor teacher.
