Print Making
This is an entry-level course for the High School Visual Arts Core Curriculum. Printmaking teaches how to make fine art prints using studio processes such as relief, stencil, transfer, intaglio, and silkscreen. With an emphasis on studio production, this course is designed to develop higher-level thinking, art-related technology skill, art criticism, art history, and aesthetics.

Ceramics I
The course will include students from 9th grade. This ceramics class will develop basic skills in the creation of 3D forms and pottery from clay. With an emphasis on studio production, the introductory course is designed to give students a hands-on educational and artistic experience using the medium of clay. Students will learn to shape clay in a variety of ways-including hand building, slab forms, extruded forms, coil forms and wheel throwing. Students will also gain experience with various decorating, glazing, and firing techniques. The course is designed to develop higher-level thinking, art-related technology skill, art criticism, art history, and aesthetics.

Ceramics II
Ceramics II is an advanced course emphasizing student exploration of ceramics as a sculptural medium, and also aims to refine technical skills and design to a competitive standard. This is a production based course, and students will gain more independence in developing creative ideas in 3D form.
